Human Cell Tissue Products (HCT) have the remarkable potential to develop into many different cell types and serve as a sort of internal repair system. When a stem cell divides, each new cell has the potential to either remain a stem cell or become another type of cell with a more specialized function, such as a muscle cell, a red blood cell or a brain cell. Its potential to improve one's function and quality of life is truly unlimited when combined with an integrated medical approach. The HCT we use here at X-Cell Integrative Health are of the highest quality obtainable. The lab we use is based here in the US and in accordance with standards established by FDA requirements. The HCT is obtained from the umbilical cord tissue of full term healthy mother and baby. Each donor is carefully screened. Comprehensive medical and social histories of the donors are obtained and tissues are procured, processed, and tested in accordance with FDA requirements to minimize potential risks of disease transmissions to recipients. Tests are additionally done with the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments of 1988 (CLIA) and 42 CFR part 493. All testing results are reviewed extensively. Once the HCT is retrieved they begin a slow freeze process. They are stored in a cryotank at <-196> degrees with liquid nitrogen used to maintain the quality and frozen state.
